Exciting News! Dance Arts Pflugerville is moving to our new, expanded studio in September.

Children's Attire
We want every dancer to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to move. The following attire guidelines help ensure students can move safely while allowing our instructors to provide the best possible instruction.
If you’re still gathering dancewear or waiting for shoes to arrive, don’t worry—we’re happy to help with recommendations.
Girls
-
Leotard and tights.
-
Ballet skirts are optional. (For acro classes, skirts should be easily removable.)
Boys
-
Plain, form-fitted T-shirt with dark-colored leggings or fitted athletic shorts.
Dance Shoes
-
Ballet: Ballet slippers.
-
Tap: Tap shoes.
-
Jazz: Jazz shoes.
-
Lyrical: Ballet slippers.
-
Contemporary: Ballet slippers.
-
Hip Hop: Clean indoor athletic shoes or jazz sneakers.
-
Acro: Bare feet.
-
Creative Movement: Ballet slippers. Bring tap shoes if the class includes tap. Students in acro combinations will dance barefoot during the acro portion of class.
-
My Minnie & Me: Gripper socks or ballet slippers.
Hair
-
Hair should be pulled back and secured away from the face before class.
Dance Shoe Care
-
Please wear dance shoes only inside the studio or at home on a clean, appropriate dance surface. This helps keep our dancers safe, extends the life of their dance shoes, and keeps our studio floors clean.
Entering the Studio
-
Please wear street shoes when entering and leaving the studio. Dance shoes should be put on upstairs before entering the classroom.
Purchasing Dancewear
-
Dancewear and shoes may be purchased at any local dancewear retailer or online. We recommend trying dance shoes on in person whenever possible to ensure the best fit.
