Tara began her dance career later than most, taking her first class at age 13, but as soon as her hand touched the barre she knew she was home. 

Her dance instruction began with Marisa Bain after joining Liberty Dance Center. Since then, she has studied multiple dance styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and pom.

Tara taught Ballet for nearly a year at Begin Ballet, before moving to St. Louis to work towards a degree in architecture at Washington Univeristy.

Most recently, she has trained under Coach Jessica Pereira as a member of the Washington University dance team. 

In the last five years, Tara has taught and assisted multiple styles of dance and a variety of levels.

Her own experience starting dance later has given her a passion for helping students of all levels and backgrounds reach their goals. Tara is so excited for the opportunity here at Dance Arts Pflugerville!
